Last month, MicroScreen attended the APEX Expo 2026 in Anaheim, California, where the company showcased its high-precision SMT stencil solutions and connected with customers, partners, and industry peers from across the electronics manufacturing sector.
During the event, Nik Thomas spoke with Claire Saunders from WNIE (What’s New in Electronics) about MicroScreen’s continued growth, upcoming expansion plans, and the company’s focus on customer service and manufacturing quality.
One of the biggest announcements shared during the interview was MicroScreen’s expansion into Oxford, Connecticut. The new facility was set to open on the 6th April, 2026 and represents an important step in improving service and accessibility for customers throughout the East Coast, a region with a strong concentration of SMT manufacturers and contract assembly operations.
To support the expansion, MicroScreen recently brought on Jeff Polis, an experienced industry professional with a long background in electronics manufacturing.
Founded in 1981, MicroScreen has spent more than four decades building a reputation for precision manufacturing and responsive customer support. During the interview, Nik emphasized that the company’s ability to respond quickly and maintain close relationships with customers continues to be one of MicroScreen’s biggest differentiators.
As electronics manufacturing continues moving toward tighter tolerances and higher process demands, MicroScreen remains focused on delivering reliable stencil solutions that support consistent print performance and stable production yields.
