Microscreen is expanding its Northeast sales coverage with the addition of industry veteran Ed Nyhus.
The move was recently highlighted in SMT Today, which announced Nyhus as the company’s sales representative supporting New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding Tri-State region.
As demand grows across high-reliability electronics markets, particularly within the Northeast’s aerospace, medical, and advanced electronics manufacturing hubs, Microscreen is strengthening its customer support network to ensure manufacturers have direct access to experienced, process-focused guidance. Nyhus brings more than three decades of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, with deep knowledge of SMT printing processes, production troubleshooting, and print quality optimization.
Throughout his career, Nyhus has worked closely with manufacturing teams to improve throughput and consistency on the production floor. This experience aligns directly with Microscreen’s focus on high-precision SMT solder stencils, custom tooling, and print-critical solutions.
“Ed understands the realities our customers face every day,” said Gary Hardin of Microscreen. “He knows what it takes to get the most out of a print process, and his experience will be a real asset to manufacturers throughout the Northeast.”
The addition of dedicated regional support reflects Microscreen’s broader growth as demand increases for laser-cut stencils, nano-coated stencils, step stencils, and custom tooling used across aerospace, medical, automotive, and other high-reliability applications. Strengthening local coverage allows the company to maintain close customer partnerships while supporting increasingly complex manufacturing requirements.
The SMT Today feature underscores Microscreen’s ongoing commitment to pairing precision manufacturing with knowledgeable, accessible support, ensuring customers have both the products and expertise needed to achieve consistent results.
